day 356

I got to go to the Phillies vs. Nationals game tonight in D.C., although you would have thought it was a home Phillies game from the sound of the crowd. There were WAY more Phillies fans than Nationals fans - it was almost comical. That handsome guy in the picture with me is my older brother David...he came down from Philly for the game!

day 350

We kept driving south after Mere's wedding and dropped Maddie off at another week of summer camp. I was so jealous when we dropped her off - it looked exactly like the set of the Parent Trap! I wanted to stay there for the week too. Too bad I was too chicken to ever do an overnight camp when I was little...

day 349

Today was my cousin Meredith's wedding! She was the most beautiful bride, and the wedding was soooo much fun. I'm always reminded at events like this how lucky I am to be a part of this family - I'll never take that for granted. Congratulations Mere & Chris!!

day 348

I finally got to go to a Phillies game this season! Reghan, Ryan, Jack and I ventured down to Citizens Bank Park to watch the Phils take on the Nationals...and lose :( Oh well, it was still fun!

day 347

Look at this crew! (Ignore the crappy iPhone picture though...) We had lunch with Carey and Bobby, the Shadday's, and my fam! Everyone's in town for Meredith's wedding, which means lots of extra family time :)

day 343

My cousin Reghan was in D.C. this week for a convention, and I went to pick her up afterwards to take her home with me! We went to my new favorite D.C. location (remember Eastern Market!?) and stopped at the pickle stand. Here's Regz with her pickle-on-a-stick(le!).

day 335

Maddie had about 15 seconds to breath between coming home from the beach and getting dropped off for a week long overnight camp in the Poconos! Despite the quick turn around time, she was excited and ready to go!

day 333

Before we went out to dinner tonight, we took our annual picture on the stairs. We've been taking these for as long as I can remember! It's fun to look back through all of them. Here are a few flashback stair photos...

day 329

Tonight I went with my mom and Don to a bar in Sea Isle where my cousins' band Jamison was playing! They play every Sunday night here at Shenanigans for "Irish Happy Hour." I'm so happy to be 21 so that I can go out and see them play more often now!

day 328

Today was the beginning of my family's weeklong vacation in Ocean City! Carey & Bobby stayed with us tonight, and I took this super cute shot of the boo bear :) He's walking (and totally knows how to pose for the camera)!

day 322

Today was Mike and Sara's going away party! Even though all of us east-coasters are sad to see them go, it was still a fun time spent with my cousins! After the party we all went out for crabs - their final "authentic" Maryland meal!

day 310

Finally, the real fourth of July! I'm loving that it fell on a Monday, because it just means an extra day of celebrations! Today we had a bunch of family over for a cookout and I attempted to make a red, white and blue layered cake. There were a few minor mishaps, but I'd say it came out pretty well for a first try!

day 306

Today was a day full of babies! My other cousins (Oliver and Eleanor) from California just had twin baby girls a month after Julian was born, and they were here visiting today! Julian and I ventured out to the suburbs for one big baby play date, so he could hang out with his cousins Louise and Daphne :) How cute are these little girls??

day 303

Today was the first day of my summer job - potentially the best job I've ever had. I'm babysitting for my cousins Mike and Sara's adorable, cuddly, smiley, 3 month old baby boy, Julian. They needed a babysitter for a few weeks before they move to California, and I needed a job for a few weeks between being at home and starting school again! I'm so happy this worked out, and that I get to play with that cute guy all day, every day for a month!

day 302

Another day, another shower! This time is was a baby shower for my cousin Jen. She's due in August and doesn't know what she's having, hence all of the green and yellow presents. (There were SO many presents, she had to have 3 shifts of gift opening!) Can't wait to have another little Callaghan baby around :)

day 301

This weekend was so full of family events - I loved every minute of it! Today was my cousin Meredith's wedding shower. (She's in the middle of that picture, surrounded by her 4 sisters!)
Everything was beautiful, and it was so fun to be with so much family. (and I got to use my new camera all day!) She got so many great gifts - I wish you got to register at places like Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel whenever you move into a new apartment!

day 299

My first official use of my camera was tonight at Maddie's swim meet! Love that "sports" setting!

day 295

I took Caley and her friends down to Ocean City for the day for a belated birthday celebration! It was a little chilly, but still a great day down the shore :)

day 289

Today was Caley's 17th birthday! We were born two days (and four years!) apart. Unfortunately for her, it was also her first day of finals, so we celebrated low-key with some yummy red velvet cupcakes, and postponed a real celebration until school let out for the summer.

day 282

I got to babysit Bobby tonight! He turned one on June 2nd - I can't believe it! He's such a big boy now, and so sweet :)
